Explore the work of this contemporary artist through a live presentation in the art gallery observatory. Inspired by modern art, this creator titled his presentation "A Day in the Life of a Rat."

Learning the Human

This piece is a commentary on the relationship between humans and animals, highlighting how animals can adapt and take on human-like qualities. The rat's self-portrait also speaks to the idea of self-reflection and the human desire for self-expression. Gusteau created this artwork to be thought-provoking and challenge viewers to consider the role of animals in our society.

 Ratatouille

This painting depicts the story of Remy, a rat with an exceptional sense of taste and smell, who dreams of becoming a chef in a French restaurant. After finding himself in Paris, Remy befriends a young garbage boy named Linguini and the two embark on a culinary adventure, working together to create delicious dishes while keeping Remy's true identity as a rat a secret.

A Good Cook Can Come From Anywhere

The food critic Anton Ego is served a dish of ratatouille prepared by Remy, the rat-turned-chef. As he takes his first bite, Ego is transported back to his childhood, where he remembers his mother serving him a similar dish. The taste of the ratatouille evokes powerful emotions in Ego, and he is moved to tears as he remembers his childhood and the comforting feeling of being at home.
